What is Terra to Tavola?
"Terra to Tavola" is Italian for "Earth to Table" — a name that reflects our deep belief in reconnecting with the land, nourishing ourselves naturally, and enjoying the simple pleasure of food grown in your own backyard. We guide you through every step of creating a kitchen garden — from rich, living soil (terra) to the fresh harvest on your table (tavola). Whether you’re planting your first herb garden or transforming your backyard into a thriving edible landscape, our goal is to make growing your own food accessible, beautiful, and deeply rewarding.
Our Mission

The Team
At Terra to Tavola, our mission is to help clients grow their own produce at home through thoughtfully designed kitchen gardens. We work to create systems that are both beautiful and functional—making it easy for anyone to grow and maintain a thriving garden with confidence and joy.

With a background in Integrative Healthcare, we understand that whole, natural foods are a powerful form of medicine. The meals we eat daily should be sourced with care. Most grocery store produce—even organic—is picked before it is ripe and has been treated with harmful pesticides that can leave behind residue. By starting to grow some of our own food at home, we can start to avoid this and bring a whole new meaning to fresh and local.
With a good investment upfront, a willingness to learn, and just ten minutes a day, a Terra to Tavola kitchen garden can reduce grocery bills and potentially pay for itself in time. Other benefits to gardening include daily movement, fresh air, and vitamin D. More importantly, it connects us with our food, supports the earth through regenerative practices, and can help provide some food security for our families.

Hi, I am Melina! My journey with gardening started when I graduated from college, studying Integrative Health Care. Through learning about nutrition, I became interested in farming and growing my own food. After graduating, I moved home to see what I could grow in my parent's backyard, which is the garden pictured above! With over three years of experience, I am ready to share my knowledge and expertise with others who are interested in growing their own food!
